Durham Region Roundtable on Climate Change (DRRCC)
The Durham Region Roundtable on Climate Change (DRRCC) is an initiative that will position the Region of Durham as a leader in addressing climate change issues.
The Roundtable will prepare and recommend a comprehensive strategy with detailed actions that can be undertaken across the region to address climate change.

On behalf of Durham Regional Council, I welcome you to Durham Region’s Climate Change Web page. Earlier this year, the Durham Region Roundtable on Climate Change launched their work in developing strategies to help the Region mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change.

- The Region of Durham has completed a Community Inventory of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (PDF). This report and attachment shows the total emissions by sector and by source. This chart will serve as the baseline for future GHG emissions reductions that will be undertaken by the community as part of a larger Regional climate change strategy.
